Your security

Every time your device connects to the internet, our network-level filtering checks the destination against a continuously updated database of known threats. Malicious websites, scam infrastructure and dangerous links are blocked before anything loads — across every app and browser, on every device we manage.
The most common way criminals access personal accounts is through stolen passwords. We secure every important account with multi-factor authentication, meaning a stolen password alone is never enough to get in. We also manage your passwords so every account has a strong, unique password you never have to remember.
Outdated software is one of the most common ways criminals gain access to computers and phones. Every security update, every software patch, every operating system improvement is applied automatically across your devices — without you doing anything, without notifications asking you to click something.
We monitor your devices and accounts around the clock. Your backup
Think about what's on your devices. Years of photographs. Letters and documents. Contacts you've built up over a lifetime. Financial records. The things that cannot be replaced. Your Technology Adviser backs up everything — automatically, continuously and securely.
A complete copy of your computer — every file, every document, every photograph — is backed up to the cloud every single day. If your computer is ever lost, stolen, damaged or simply stops working, we can restore everything exactly as it was. The whole machine, or just the files you need.
Your email history, your cloud documents and your important files are backed up separately and independently — protected even in circumstances where your main backup cannot help. Every email you have ever sent or received is retained and recoverable.
Your iPhone's photos, messages, contacts and apps are automatically backed up every night while it charges. We verify this is working at your Technology Audit and monitor it on an ongoing basis. If you ever lose your phone or need to replace it, everything comes back exactly as it was.
The gold standard of data protection requires three copies of your data, stored in two different ways, with one copy held securely off-site. Every Your Technology Adviser member benefits from this standard automatically — without ever having to think about it.
Proactive monitoring
Most of the issues your devices encounter are found and resolved by us before you ever know about them. Monitoring alerts, security issues, backup failures and software problems are handled automatically — or by our team. None of this counts against your included support hours.
We monitor the health of your computer's storage and alert you before a failure, giving time to act rather than react.
Unusual sign-in attempts, policy changes and suspicious behaviour are flagged immediately.
We verify your backups have run successfully. If something fails, we fix it before it matters.
All critical software is monitored for updates. Nothing falls behind.
On the first of every month, you and your nominated family contact receive a brief, plain-English report covering everything we've been doing on your behalf.
It covers the health of your devices, any security events we've detected and resolved, the status of your backups, and how much of your support time was used.
No technical jargon. No alarm. Just a clear, honest summary of where everything stands — the equivalent of a statement from your financial adviser.
Family account included
You can nominate a family member — a son, daughter or trusted person — as an authorised contact. They receive the monthly report, can raise support requests on your behalf, and can speak with us about your technology at any time.
Personal support
When you call, a real person answers. There are no call centres, no automated menus, no being put on hold and transferred between departments. Just calm, expert help from someone who knows your setup and knows you.
Any question, any issue, any device we manage. Whether you need help with a video call, something on your computer isn't working the way it should, you've received an email you're not sure about, or you simply want to understand how something works — we're here.
The majority of issues are found and resolved by us before you call. Monitoring alerts, security issues, backup failures and software problems are handled by our team — none of this counts against your two included hours. Your support time is for you, not for our housekeeping.
If a complex issue requires more than your included two hours in a given month, additional time is available at $90 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. We will always let you know before your included time runs out — there are no surprises on your invoice.

Your membership covers up to two devices — typically a Windows computer or Mac and an iPhone. Additional devices can be added for $10 per month each.

Optional extras
Most members find the standard membership covers everything they need. For those who want more, two straightforward additions are available.
A dedicated email address under your own name — for example, margaret@chapmanfamily.com.au — managed and protected as part of your membership. Includes advanced email filtering that blocks scam and phishing emails before they reach your inbox, and independent backup of every email you send and receive.
Your existing Gmail or Hotmail address continues to work and forwards automatically — nothing is lost in the transition.
Each device beyond the two included in your membership is covered for an additional $10 per month. Full management, monitoring, security and backup — everything your included devices receive. Suitable for members with a second computer, an iPad used as a primary device, or a spouse or partner sharing the membership.
