Getting started with Your Technology Adviser is a two-step process. First, your Technology Audit and Onboarding — a personal visit to your home that gets everything set up properly. Then your ongoing membership, which keeps everything running, protected and supported from that point forward. The audit is required for every membership — it's how we ensure everything is configured correctly before we start managing it.

How support hours work

What counts against your 2-hour allowance

  • Customer-initiated support calls and remote sessions
  • Technician time spent resolving a reported issue
  • Training and how-to assistance you request
  • Time is tracked in 15-minute increments from first contact
  • Allowance resets on the 1st of each month
  • You are notified proactively when 90 minutes have been used

The principle is simple: if you called us, it counts. If we noticed it first and fixed it before you knew, it doesn't. This aligns our incentives with yours — we are rewarded for being proactive, and your allowance is reserved for the moments when you genuinely need us.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. If you choose monthly billing, you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice. Annual billing is paid upfront and is not refundable, but there is no ongoing obligation beyond the year. Most members choose annual billing for the savings.
Is the Technology Audit compulsory?
Yes. The Technology Audit and Onboarding is required as the first step of every membership. It's how we make sure everything is configured correctly, all devices are enrolled, and we understand your setup fully before we start managing it. It also covers your first month of membership.
Do I need to change my email address?
No. Your existing Gmail, Hotmail or any other email address stays exactly as it is. If you'd like a managed email address under your own name, that's available as an optional add-on at $15 per month — and if you take it, your old address continues to forward so nothing is lost.
What devices are covered?
Your membership covers two devices — typically a Windows PC or Mac and an iPhone. Additional devices are available for $10 per month each. We support Windows PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads and Android phones. Management capabilities vary by device type — we confirm everything during your Technology Audit.
What happens if my computer breaks down?
If it's a software issue, we'll fix it remotely. If it's a hardware failure, we can't repair hardware remotely — but because your data is fully backed up with Acronis, nothing is lost. We can assist you with sourcing a replacement and restore everything to your new machine. Hardware repair referrals are available to trusted local technicians.
Can I buy this as a gift for a parent?
Absolutely — and many of our members are purchased by adult children for parents. You can pay for the membership and the Technology Audit, nominate yourself as the family liaison contact, and receive the monthly health reports. Contact us and we'll walk you through the gifting process.
What is the scam guarantee exactly?
If you are targeted by an online scam while you are a member, we will spend up to five hours of our time — at no additional charge — helping you report it to the Australian Cyber Security Centre and Scamwatch, contacting your bank or relevant financial institutions, and working through the recovery process with you. This is not financial compensation for any loss — it's our commitment to stand beside you if something happens.
Will you be able to see my personal files and emails?
We manage your technology — we don't access your personal information. Our monitoring tools show us device health, security status and backup status. We can access your screen during a support session with your permission, which is how remote support works. We never browse your files, read your emails or access your accounts without your explicit instruction.
How do I get support when I need it?

Is GST included in the prices shown?
Yes. All prices shown — $500 for the Technology Audit and Onboarding, $130 per month annual, $160 per month monthly, and all add-on prices — are inclusive of GST.
